Magenta turns 9! (But we’ve been around longer than that…)

This month, we’re blowing out nine candles… but here’s the not-so-secret secret: Magenta is actually ten years old.

We started life back in 2015 as Broadway Financial Planning (Wales), before deciding we were ready for a bold new look - and Magenta was born a year later. So yes, technically we’ve hit double digits… but we’re always happy to take any excuse for cake.

Our magnificent seven (plus our secret weapons)

Right now, Magenta has seven brilliant team members at its heart. But we’d be lost without our behind-the-scenes superheroes:

• Geraldine from Climbing Rose Virtual Assistant – the calm in our chaos.

• Sasha and her wonderful crew at The Paraplan Project – the brains who keep our technical wizardry top-notch.

So really, that’s nine people working away for our clients… though not all of us share the same kettle.

The great Magenta office shuffle

In the past decade, we’ve moved offices three times. (Yes, we’re on first-name terms with our removal men and landlord.) But we think we’ve finally found our home for the foreseeable. The plants have settled in, the biscuits have found their cupboard, and the view’s not bad either.

100+ years of know-how

Add up all our financial services experience and you get a whopping century’s worth. That’s a lot of meetings, markets, and client journeys, and proof that we’ve been around long enough to have seen most things… but are still curious enough to keep learning.

Brains, books, and different routes

We’re an eclectic bunch. Three of us went to university. The rest jumped straight into the workplace, learning by doing. It’s a mix that means we see challenges from different angles, and that’s exactly how we like it.
