May has been a busy month for Magenta, with working hours compressed due to Bank Holidays, and missing Mandy in the office (who is now back and easing her way back into a routine, recovering well!)
Jamie attended the CityWire Impact Retreat, learning about macroeconomic trends around ESG and impact investing. Jamie met Dr Sarah Beynon, founder of The Bug Farm, a fascinating Welsh business which is being invested in, and having a positive impact in the effort of improving farming sustainability, you can find out more here https://www.thebugfarm.co.uk/
Gretchen attended Change Agent Advisor 3.0, speaking on a panel alongside Baroness Karen Brady, who quoted, ‘The definition of hell is your last day on earth when the person you became meets the person you could have become’ – Dan Sullivan. This was something which was much discussed following the panel and clearly thought provoking.
